About the Role

Long Term Futures is working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Kingston Upon Thames that is looking to appoint a passionate Teacher to join their team from September. The school has a welcoming atmosphere, a collaborative leadership team and a strong focus on ensuring every child reaches their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys delivering engaging lessons, inspiring learners and preparing pupils for the next stage of their education.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons across the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assess pupil progress and use data effectively to adapt teaching and maximise attainment.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents and support staff to ensure every child achieves their best.
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development while preparing them for transition into secondary education.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and/or 2 curriculum.
  • Confident planning and delivering engaging lessons that challenge and inspire pupils.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
