About the role
ANZUK Education is working with a number of primary schools in Kingston seeking KS1 & KS2 Teachers to support them with short and long term cover. This position offers the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils to achieve strong academic progress within a well‑structured and supportive environment.
This KS1 & KS2 Teacher role in Kingston would suit experienced teachers, ECTs, or Upper and Lower Key Stage practitioners looking to develop their experience across the primary phases.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high‑quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils across KS1 and KS2.
- Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and behaviour.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional and personal development.
- Complete any marking for lessons taken on the day.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (non‑negotiable).
- Be a confident ECT or experienced teacher across KS1 and/or KS2.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and behaviour.
- Show a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and families.
