Electrical Design Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

You will join a collaborative, technically driven environment where your expertise will be valued from day one. You will work on challenging large‑scale infrastructure design projects across ports, harbours and container terminal infrastructure, gaining exposure to UK and global developments while benefiting from strong career progression and support.

• Deliver electrical infrastructure design from feasibility to detailed design.
• Produce calculations, reports and technical documentation.
• Support design assurance, technical reviews and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Respond to site queries and support implementation phases.
• Contribute to testing and commissioning activities from a design perspective.

• Experience in electrical infrastructure design, ideally within ports, harbours or terminal infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of LV/HV power systems, utility networks and resilience strategies.
• Ability to produce technical calculations and design documentation.
• Experience using software such as Amtech/Trimble, ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD or Revit.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work within project teams.
• An Electrical Engineering degree and several years of relevant experience (beneficial but not essential).
