Senior Paraplanner

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Paraplanner to join a highly respected and forward-thinking financial planning firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong and client-focused professional to become a key part of a collaborative and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Producing detailed and accurate suitability reports across a range of financial planning areas
• Conducting technical research and analysis on pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning
• Supporting Financial Advisers in preparing and implementing client recommendations
• Assisting with complex cases and high-net-worth client portfolios
• Liaising with providers, clients, and internal teams to ensure efficient case progression
• Reviewing and analysing financial information to support tailored client solutions
• Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance standards are met
• Supporting and mentoring junior paraplanners where required
• Keeping up to date with industry regulations, products, and market developments

Experience and Skills Requirements

• Previous experience in a Paraplanner or Senior Paraplanner position
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and financial planning
• Level 4 Diploma qualified as a minimum (working towards Chartered status advantageous)
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
• Confident communication skills with a professional and client-focused approach
• Ability to manage workloads independently and prioritise effectively
• Competent IT skills and experience using financial planning systems and research tools
• A proactive, motivated, and team-oriented attitude
