An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Acute Medicine Department for a Band 5 Admin Manager supporting Elderly care services, Neurology, Neurophysiology, Stroke and DDU services.
The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the full range of administrative duties relating to the Radiology Admin team and reception areas.
Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive management of non-clinical aspects of the acute medicine services, including the management of secretarial, administrative and clerical staff. They are responsible for day-to-day management of the Radiology Admin Team, ensuring all HR policies and procedures are applied equally to all staff within the department. The post holder will liaise with clinicians, managers and administrative and clerical teams to ensure that the service is a responsive one.
The post holder will ensure effective and timely communication with staff, patients and members of other organisations.

Person Specification Qualifications- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of key current NHS issues including 18 weeks.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of healthcare administrative systems and processes.
- Experience working in the NHS - CRS, digital dictation systems.
- Awareness of Trust Policy and Procedure.
- Proficient in use of Software systems.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- People Management Experience.
- Experience of Supervising staff.
- Experience of waiting list management and patient pathway analysis.
- Experience of validation of PTL.
- Experience working in the NHS.
- Experience in working part of improvement projects.
