Radiotherapy Researcher

Join us at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, working in partnership with its academic partner, The Institute of Cancer Research, to form one of Europe’s largest and most influential cancer centres. We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Therapeutic Radiographer or a therapeutic radiographer with clinical and/or dosimetry experience to join our Radiography Research Unit.

This two-year fixed‑term Band 7 post, with part‑time working considered, is ideal for an individual who is keen to develop their research skills and build experience with a view to leading research in the future. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic and supportive research team, gaining hands‑on experience in the design, delivery, and translation of research into clinical practice.

This role will enable the post holder to contribute to meaningful improvements in radiotherapy practice and patient outcomes, while developing the skills and confidence required to progress towards research leadership locally, nationally, and internationally.

• 2.1.1 Able to work autonomously in all areas of practice related to Applied Health Research.
• 2.1.2 Liaise with senior and lead radiographer researchers to design, conduct and analyse research
