Urban Fun Arcade is a high-energy, multi-activity entertainment venue combining a large-scale amusement arcade, a quality food & beverage operation, and a range of social, group, and corporate activities. Our Kingston venue is a flagship site and a key part of our growth strategy.
We are seeking a commercially focused General Manager to take full ownership of site performance. This is a senior leadership role with accountability for operations, people, financial results, and guest experience across a complex, high‑footfall leisure environment.
The RoleAs General Manager, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end operation of the venue, ensuring strong commercial performance, safe and engaging guest experiences, and the development of a high‑performing management and front‑line team.
You will lead from the front, balancing strategic planning with hands‑on operational control.
Key Responsibilities Site & Operational Leadership- Full responsibility for daily operations across F&B, amusement arcade, and other activities
- Ensure consistent delivery of service, safety, cleanliness, and brand standards
- Manage peak trading periods, events, and high‑volume sessions effectively
- Oversee bar and kitchen performance, including stock control, GP management, and wastage reduction
- Drive speed of service, product quality, and operational consistency
- Work with senior stakeholders on menu performance, pricing, and margin improvement
- Ensure high machine uptime, effective supplier relationships, and smooth cashless operations
- Oversee staffing, safety, and guest flow across all activities
- Drive engagement, repeat visits, and secondary spend
- Recruit, train, develop, and retain managers and front‑line team members
- Set clear objectives, conduct performance reviews, and manage underperformance when required
- Build a positive, accountable, and guest‑focused culture
- Full P&L responsibility for the site
- Control staffing, stock, and operating costs in line with budget
- Deliver revenue growth through events, parties, and corporate bookings
- Track KPIs and implement corrective actions where needed
- Ensure full compliance with licensing, food safety, health & safety, and employment legislation
- Act as the senior on‑site lead for inspections, audits, and incident management
- Proven experience as a General Manager or senior site leader in hospitality, leisure, or entertainment
- Strong F&B operational and commercial background
- Experience managing large teams in fast‑paced, high‑volume venues
- Confident decision‑maker with strong leadership presence
- Experience in amusement arcades, competitive socialising, or activity‑led venues
- Cashless venue or technology‑enabled operations experience
- Track record of driving events, parties, or corporate bookings
- OTE £51,750 (performance‑related bonus)
