Job PurposeYou will develop and grow the ice‑cream portfolio with existing and prospective customers. Your primary focus is to lead and evolve the regional field sales team within the independent leisure market, whilst account managing up to five top independent regional leisure customers and all indirect wholesalers in your region.
Key Responsibilities- Manage portfolio of new and existing customers and lead the 3rd‑party field sales team to deliver against distribution and execution targets each month, quarter and year.
- Drive internal P&L delivery and external market‑share growth of all indirect wholesalers in the region.
- Account manage the national indirect wholesale buying group and distribute data and insights to national teams.
- End‑to‑end account management of a direct regional wholesaler.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with direct regional and national wholesaler partners to grow distribution and availability of the full portfolio at the outlet level.
- Build a culture of customer‑centricity, using data and insight as the foundation for sales growth.
- Lead proof‑of‑concept initiatives within the leisure channel prior to national roll‑out.
- Manage the regional capex budget, tracking all existing capex equipment.
- Approve P&L and investment spend/business cases with customers within the financial framework and channel lead sign‑off.
- Lead large‑scale contractual negotiations within legal framework with existing and prospective customers.
- Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Advanced negotiation and customer‑relationship skills.
- Robust commercial understanding, P&L literacy, strong analytical skills, and proactive accountability.
- Entrepreneurial approach to grow existing customers and win new ones ahead of competition.
- Ability to network and collaborate with internal partners to create value.
- Independent and team‑oriented work style.
- Strong IT skills, especially MS Office and experience with Power‑Bi or similar sales systems.
- Proven track record managing multiple influential retail or leisure customers, building new opportunities.
- Proven ability in planning and prioritisation of tasks.
- Line‑manager excellence, including recruitment, training and development.
- Roles with real accountability and visible impact.
