Apprentice Fire & Security Engineer – London & South East (GU, TW KT, SW)

Alarm Communications Limited is a leading specialist in fire protection, commercial security and building management systems. We recruit an Apprentice Fire & Security Engineer to support our London and surrounding areas.

• Maintain fire alarm, access control, CCTV and intruder alarm systems to the highest standards.
• Carry out routine services of fire and intruder alarm systems.
• Provide detailed information to enable accurate quoting of chargeable works.
• Maintain impeccable conduct and deliver the highest standard of customer service.
• Keep concise and accurate records of work completed.
• Complete the Fire & Security Systems Qualification.

• Three‑year apprenticeship course with 14 block releases and weekly college attendance.
• Pass a Level 3 End Point Assessment (theory and practical).

• Qualified to A Level or BTEC. Electrical qualification or similar is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer‑service attitude.
• Meticulous, thorough, flexible and reliable.
• Self‑motivated and able to manage workload and training efficiently.
• Full manual UK driving licence (or commitment to obtain within 18 months).
• GCSE Maths and English grade 4+.
• Willingness to travel regionally, including London.
