RolePurpose:
Responsible for the Pre-Operations function primarily in relation to crew planning, being the liaison between the rostering function and the requirements of the business in regard crew training, and roster quality and maintenance, up to handover to day-to-day crewing within the operations window.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities of the role:- Working closely with the Business Travel Coordinators support Crew travel, hotel and transport requirements via third party travel supplier
- Supporting on-time performance, operational delivery and efficiency following the values and culture of One Air
- Monitoring and managing pilot time off and leave in an efficient way and in accordance with Company procedure
- Ensuring that crew resources are managed in the most efficient and cost-effective way, in compliance with documented statutory and regulatory requirements
- Monitor all flight set ups to make sure compliant with all flight time limitations as set out in OMA chapter 7 and investigate occurrences of regulatory extension or breach
- Managing fatigue reports and assisting team members as required to improve roster quality and lifestyle enhancement through continuous improvement.
- Monitoring and planning of crew qualification expiries and required interventions.
- Supporting the Operations Duty Managers on a day to day basis and covering where required
- Excellent communications with all external and internal stakeholders connected to our operations to ensure effective operational delivery
- Responsible for ensuring they maintain a knowledge of company operations, documentation, regulating authority requirements, relevant systems and procedures
- Actively support and deliver a safety culture and raise safety issues where and when required
- Must have a sound knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
- An understanding of applicable regulations with respect to Flight Time Limitations and Fatigue Risk Management would be preferable
- Can demonstrate some relevant previous work experience
- Previous experience with a knowledge and familiarity with aviation management systems
- An understanding of Day-to-Day Crewing, Pre-ops or Rostering functions
- Has a proven ability to plan and organise often in a fast moving ever changing operational environment, with a keen eye for detail and acuity for problem solving
- Excellent interpersonal and all-round communication skills with the ability to problem solve under pressure
- Excellent team and customer focus skills
- Knowledge of the LEON flight software system preferable
This role is full time 42 hours per week, working a shift pattern of 4 on and 4 off.
