About the Role
Our client is an established and growing business based in Chessington looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of their busy warehouse operation. This is a varied, hands-on management role where you will oversee the full warehouse function, from goods-in and stock management through to picking, packing and dispatch, whilst leading and developing the warehouse team.
You will be responsible for ensuring the operation runs safely, efficiently and accurately, with a strong focus on people management, stock accuracy, productivity, customer service and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day warehouse operation including goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
- Leading, motivating and developing the warehouse team
- Planning workloads, staffing and warehouse resources to ensure an efficient operation
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and overseeing inventory and stock control processes
