Night Shift Supervisor - Food Packaging

Job Description

Sugar Plum Chocolates is hiring a dependable, organized Night Shift Supervisor to lead our food packaging team. This is a hands on position for someone who can keep production moving, support employees, and maintain high standards for quality and food safety.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise the night shift packaging team and assign daily tasks.
• Monitor packaging accuracy, product quality, and production progress.
• Ensure employees follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Train team members and address issues as they arise.
• Complete production paperwork, food safety records, and shift reports.
• Assist with inventory counts and organize ingredients, finished products, and packaging supplies.
• Communicate with management and the day shift to ensure smooth transitions.
• Work occasional day shifts for training, coverage, or production needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in food packaging, food production, or a similar environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Food safety and sanitation experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to keep accurate paperwork and inventory records.
• Dependability and the ability to lead in a busy production environment.
• Availability to work nights with flexibility for occasional day shifts.
• Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
