About Us:
The Laundry Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining an efficient and high-quality supply of clean linens. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens while ensuring all laundry processes meet cleanliness and quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, efficient time management, and the ability to maintain a steady workflow in a physically active environment.
KEYSKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Physical Stamina: Operate laundry equipment efficiently and with attention to detail. Sort, process, and inspect linens for quality. Ability to lift and move heavy laundry loads, frequently reaching and stooping during shifts.
- Efficient: Maintain organized workflow and timely supply of linens. Ensure workplace safety and follow proper lifting techniques.
- Teamwork: Coordinate with team members to meet linen needs promptly and uphold cleanliness standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a hotel, laundry, housekeeping, or related field is preferred.
