As a Bank Staff Teaching Assistant, you'll be an essential part of the school community, providing crucial support where it's needed most for students with various SEN requirements. This is a flexible, 'bank staff' position

• Location: Bristol, UK
• Pay Rate: £90 per day
• Working Hours: 8:15 AM - 3:30 PM (Typical school day hours)
• Contract Type: Bank Staff (Flexible/Ad-hoc)

You won't just be an extra pair of hands; you'll be a mentor

• Assisting the classroom teacher to ensure lessons run smoothly and are inclusive for all learners.
• Helping students with varied needs access and engage with a differentiated curriculum.
• Actively contributing to a safe, welcoming, and productive school environment.

• Providing one-on-one or small group support to help students with their learning objectives, managing tasks, and overcoming academic or social-emotional challenges.
• Working with students across the SEN spectrum, adapting support methods to individual Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans.
• Assisting in maintaining a focused and calm atmosphere, supporting behavioural and learning strategies set by the teacher.
• Being a trusted point of contact, assisting with the pastoral care and overall well‑being of the students, especially those facing SEMH difficulties.

• Experience: Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN/SEMH, or in any educational setting (formal or informal)
