CNC Turner​/Operator

Location: Warmley

Can you programme, set up and operate a CNC machine?

Do you have experience with Fanuc Controls?

Do you have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints?

If so, this exciting new role could be for you. Our client is looking for a CNC operator to join their team and help them to continue to provide high quality specialist parts.

Your role responsibilities:

* Fully programme CNC machines online including Miyano machines twin spindle, multi-axis turning centres using Fanuc controls

* Ensure efficient and accurate machining processes

* Set up and prepare CNC turning centres for production runs.

* Monitor and control the CNC machining process to achieve the desired output

* Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy

* Adhere to quality standards and inspection procedures

* Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, setup procedures, and production parameters.

* Work closely with engineering and design teams to interpret drawings and specifications accurately.

Requirements

* Experienced with programming, setting, operating Twin spindle, Multi Axis CNC lathes/Turning Machine

* Experience with Citizen Miyano machines is very desirable

* Experienced with Fanuc Controls

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

* Understanding of machining principles, tooling and materials

* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues

Hours : 2 Week rotating shifts (37 hour working week)

Week 1 – Monday – Thursday 6am - 2pm and Friday 6am - 11am

Week 2 – Monday – Thursday 2pm-10pm and Friday 11am - 4pm
