Role Overview
Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking for a new role? This is a great opportunity to join a leading supplier of machined parts to global Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 customers.
Responsibilities- Setting and operating of CNC Milling machines
- Installing work pieces, fixtures, and cutting tools
- Production of high-quality detail parts
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Adherence to health and safety protocols
- Adherence to specifications and quality standards
- Experienced CNC setter operator
- Knowledge of Heidenhain & Fanuc controls
- Ability to set work shifts including 4th axis and Trunions
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Ability to resolve common CNC machine issues (tooling problems, etc)
- Experience using measuring equipment
- Understanding of Geometric dimensions and tolerances
- £20.40 per hour including shift allowance, £39,249.60 per year
- Double days, Monday to Thursday 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, Fridays 6am - 11am, 11am - 4pm
- Overtime at time and a half
