Competitive Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 (pro rata) depending on experience

Life at Highcroft

Due to progression, a rare opportunity has become available for a Night Nurse to join our team at Highcroft Vets. This is a part‑time role, working 27.7 hours a week on average, Monday‑Thursday (8 pm‑8 am) and Friday (8 pm‑8:30 am) on a one week on one week off basis. There is no weekend, bank holiday, or on‑call work.

  • Highcroft Vets, Longwell Green is a small animal practice with a passionate and experienced team of vets, nurses, PCAs, and receptionists.
  • Our facilities include digital x‑ray, dental x‑ray, ultrasound, gastroscope, bronchoscope, multiparameter monitoring, and advanced anaesthetic equipment, giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding clinical care.
  • The practice benefits from free on‑site parking and is conveniently located in Longwell Green, just outside of Bristol, with great transport links and easy access to both the city and surrounding countryside.

This role will include communicating with the on‑call Vets, caring for inpatients overnight, and completing any ad‑hoc tasks.

About You

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced veterinary nurse who is confident working sole charge.
