Android Developer

Salary: £43,000 - 72,000 per year

• Commercial experience developing Android applications using Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of the Android SDK, mobile architecture patterns, and best practices.
• Experience working within Agile development teams.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools such as Git.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
• Must be either SC cleared or willing to undergo clearance as a sole UK national.
• Desirable: experience within Defence, Aerospace, or other highly regulated environments.
• Desirable: experience implementing backend solutions using Rust, Python, or Go.
• Desirable: exposure to cloud technologies, Dev Ops practices, or cross‑platform mobile development.

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using modern development practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including software engineers, testers, and product stakeholders.
• Contribute to application architecture, performance optimisation, and code quality initiatives.
• Support the full software development lifecycle from concept through to deployment.
