Are you an experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career with a well-established, design-led planning consultancy? We're working exclusively with a highly respected multidisciplinary practice that's looking to add a Senior Town Planner to their growing team.

With a strong presence across Scotland and a diverse project portfolio spanning residential, commercial, education, and master planning, this is a fantastic opportunity for a planner who thrives on variety and wants to play a key role in shaping the future of our built environment.

What's on offer:

Permanent role with a stable and respected consultancy

Location flexibility - base yourself from any of their Scottish offices (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, or remote with office visits)

Supportive, collaborative team with in-house architecture and design professionals

Opportunity to lead on significant planning applications and strategic land projects

Clear path for career progression to Associate level and beyond

About the role:

As a Senior Planner, you'll be responsible for managing a range of planning projects from inception to delivery. You'll work closely with private and public sector clients, provide strategic planning advice, prepare and submit planning applications, and help shape the future development of urban and rural communities across Scotland.

What we're looking for:

MRTPI qualified (or working towards chartership)

Proven experience in a consultancy, local authority or developer environment

Strong understanding of the Scottish planning system

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines confidently

A proactive mindset and a genuine passion for planning and placemaking
