A well-established and growing organisation within a fast-paced operational sector is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function at one of its key sites in Perth.

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of financial reporting, drive performance insights, and partner closely with operational teams to support decision‑making. If you enjoy being embedded in the business rather than sat in a silo of spreadsheets, this one's for you.

You’ll be responsible for leading all aspects of site finance, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial control, and developing a high‑performing local team.

• Ownership of the month‑end close process, ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy
• Production and review of management accounts, including full P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintaining robust balance sheet control and audit trails
• Investigating and explaining variances with clear, actionable insights

• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes at site level
• Preparing weekly and monthly forecasts aligned to operational drivers
• Developing KPI reporting to support performance improvement
• Supporting pricing reviews and margin analysis

• Managing, mentoring and developing a small finance team
• Creating a high‑performance culture with clear accountability

• Working closely with operational, commercial and transport teams
• Translating financial data into meaningful insights
• Supporting cost control, productivity analysis and planning
• Contributing to wider site leadership and continuous improvement initiatives

• Overseeing transactional accuracy within ERP systems
• Driving process improvements and identifying control gaps
• Supporting group reporting, audits and finance projects

You’ll be a confident and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with the wider business.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Professionally qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or actively studying
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role
• Strong background in financial reporting and balance sheet control
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

• Experience with in manufacturing, logistics, waste or similar operational environments
• Experience in a multi‑site or group structure
• Strong ERP and reporting system experience
