HGV Class 2 Driver

Full Time | Temporary Contract until End of April 2026

• 39 hours per week guaranteed
• £130 per week on-call allowance
• Overtime paid at 1.5x Monday to Friday
• Saturday: 1.5x for first 4 hours, then double time
• Sunday:
  Double time
• Full-time hours through to April 2026

Lynx Employment are currently recruiting experienced HGV Drivers for a winter maintenance contract based in Kinross. This is a full-time temporary role running through to the end of April 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent hours with competitive overtime rates and weekly on-call allowance.

• Operating HGV vehicles as part of the winter maintenance programme
• Gritting and snow clearance duties
• When not driving, carrying out general yard duties
• Participating in an on-call rota during the winter season

Day Shift

• Monday Thursday: 8:00am 4:30pm
• Friday: 8:30am 1:30pm

Night Shift

• Monday Thursday: 6:00pm 2:30am
• Friday: 6:00pm 1:30am

• Valid HGV Licence (Class 1 or Class
  2)
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous winter maintenance or similar experience desirable
• Flexible and reliable with ability to work shifts and on-call
