Superintendent, Construction

We are working with a growing general contractor that specializes in ground-up multifamily construction and is seeking experienced Superintendents to lead wood-frame, garden-style apartment projects across Eastern North Carolina.

This is a hands-on field leadership role for someone with strong multifamily construction experience who can take ownership of the project from mobilization through completion.

• Manage all day-to-day field operations on ground-up multifamily projects
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors and field personnel
• Maintain project schedules and ensure work stays on track
• Coordinate inspections, deliveries and site logistics
• Monitor quality, safety and compliance throughout construction
• Conduct regular site meetings and communicate progress with the project team
• Review plans, specifications and scopes of work
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe jobsite
• Work closely with Project Managers and ownership to deliver projects successfully

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial or multifamily construction
• Strong preference for ground-up wood-frame multifamily experience
• Experience with garden-style apartment projects highly preferred
• Ability to run projects independently from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, subcontractor coordination and construction sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Safety-focused with a strong attention to quality and detail
• Willingness to be based in Greenville, Fayetteville or New Bern, NC
