Mac, Inc. Professional Expectation StatementAll employees are expected to:
Serves as the 121 General/Accountable Manager, supervising Heavy Check Line Supervisors, Lead Technicians, maintenance technicians, and administrative personnel at the heavy maintenance facility. Coordinates with various departments and managers to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities/Duties- Serve as liaison with the FAA Certificate Management Office regarding the 145 Repair Station.
- Manage staff and oversee the application of company policies, FAA regulations, and maintenance procedures.
- Coordinate aircraft induction and shop schedules.
- Lead diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft discrepancies.
- Supervise maintenance personnel to ensure work is performed on schedule and in compliance with regulations.
- Train staff in work practices, safety, and procedures.
- Monitor maintenance schedules to maximize productivity and cost-efficiency.
- Maintain records and ensure proper audits and regulatory compliance.
- Manage client relationships, provide quotes, and ensure quality assurance.
- Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of facilities and equipment.
- Oversee inspections, documentation, and compliance with FAA and other regulations.
- Promote safety and ensure work area safety and cleanliness.
- Ensure proper overhaul and maintenance of aircraft components.
- Provide technical input to safety and SMS programs.
- Enforce policies, procedures, and customer protocols.
- Ensure staff training and continuous improvement.
- Oversee inventory audits and FAA findings corrections.
- Anticipate equipment issues and develop capable employees and effective tools.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in Part 121, 135, or Part 145, including 3 years in management roles.
- 5 years of asset, personnel, and facilities management experience.
- 3 years of accountable manager experience with ops specs authority.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations (Parts 43, 65, 91, 135, 121, 145).
- Organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Position Requirements
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
- Flexible, open-minded, and excellent communicator.
- Industry awareness and strong leadership skills.
Direct supervision of Heavy Check Line Supervisors, Lead Technicians, and maintenance staff.
Training Requirements- ATR Fam Course, Airworthiness Release Authorization, Receiving Inspection, General Safety, Quality System Awareness.
Primarily office environment but may involve travel and work in maintenance facilities with exposure to noise, chemicals, and temperature extremes.
