• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $$1840

• Setting:
Emergency Department (ED) – 34 beds

• Patient Population:
Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

• Charting System:
Epic EMR

• Orientation: 24 hours

• Self-scheduling with every other weekend/holiday coverage

• No call, no block scheduling
Emergency Room RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – required for all ER nursing jobs

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience

• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, NIH/Stroke Certification

• Experience with Epic charting system required

• Charge nurse experience preferred

• Community hospital or acute care experience preferred

• First-time travel nurses welcome

• Willingness to float to similar or lower acuity units as needed

• Travelers must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Department

• Perform triage, assessment, and emergency treatment for trauma, medical, and psychiatric cases

• Administer medications, blood products, and emergency interventions

• Monitor and manage patients with telemetry, ventilators, and multisystem organ dysfunction

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including providers, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services

• Accurately document all care in Epic EMR

• Participate in conscious sedation, procedural sedation, and stroke protocols

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

• Float to units of similar or lower acuity as required
