• Shift: 3x12-hour mid shifts per week (15:00 – 03:00)

• Hours per Week: 36

• On-Site Position

• Self-scheduling

• Orientation: 24 hours

• Weekend and holiday coverage required
Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

• EPIC charting experience required

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, NIH/Stroke Certification

• First-time travel nurses welcome

• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

• Community hospital nursing experience preferred

• Willingness to float to similar or lower acuity units as needed

• No local travelers within a 50-mile radius
ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients from neonates to geriatrics

• Perform triage, assessment, and emergency treatment

• Administer medications, blood products, and emergency interventions

• Monitor and manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction, respiratory distress, and acute mental health conditions

• Document and coordinate patient care using EPIC EMR

• Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, respiratory therapists, and clinical support staff

• Participate in conscious sedation, telemetry, and stroke care

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures

• Float to units with similar or lower acuity as needed
