Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant - ADHD Support
NG16, Nottinghamshire
Full-Time | Start: ASAP
Class Mate is partnering with a supportive primary school in NG16 who are looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with pupils with ADHD.
This is a full-time role suited to a proactive SEN TA who can support focus, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour through structured routines and clear boundaries.
The Role:- Full-time SEN TA role within a mainstream primary school
- Supporting pupils with ADHD on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Implementing behaviour strategies and supporting self-regulation
- Working closely with class teachers, SENCo, and parents
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and engagement
- Experience supporting children with ADHD
- Confident managing behaviour in a calm, consistent manner
- Able to adapt support strategies throughout the school day
- Strong understanding of SEN inclusion and safeguarding
- Positive, resilient, and child-centred
- Long‑term, consistent SEN placements
- Support from a recruiter who understands SEN
- Transparent communication and honest advice
- A people‑first approach to education
