Are you a Quality Engineer with strong experience in 8D investigations? Do you have a proven track record managing NCRs and driving issues through to closure? Are you confident leading cross-functional problem-solving in regulated industries?
If so, a well-established, innovative engineering business is looking for a Quality Engineer on an Outside IR35 contract basis!
Quality EngineerMonday to Friday 08:00 – 16:15 (37.5 hour week)
Kirkby-in-Ashfield
The Quality Engineer will have the following responsibilities:- Leading and closing 8D investigations for customer issues and escapes
- Managing NCRs and Audit Non-Conformances through to effective closure
- Acting as the Quality point of contact and champion for new and existing issues
- Coaching team members in 8D methodology and structured problem‑solving tools
- Working cross-functionally to progress root causes and ensure robust corrective actions
- Strong experience completing 8
Ds and driving NCRs to closure - Background within a highly regulated industry (aero, automotive, rail, nuclear etc.)
