Contracts Manager

Certain Advantage is hiring for a Contracts Manager based in Nottingham.

This role is on a 6-month contract basis and is mainly remote, with occasional on-site attendance

The Company

We’re working with a public-sector focused organisation undergoing a period of transformation, including the implementation of a newly developed contract management system. This is a key support role within the contract management function, offering the opportunity to play a hands-on part in improving governance, compliance, and data quality across the organisation.

The Role

This role is for a detail-driven Contracts Manager who is comfortable working with limited direction and ready to make an immediate impact. You’ll support the management, capture, and maintenance of contract information within a new contract management system and will be responsible for:

Capturing and inputting accurate contract data into the contract management system
Ensuring compliance with local contract management policies and procedures
Supporting best practice in contract management, with awareness of the Procurement Act 2023
Maintaining and updating the local contract register to reflect awarded contracts
Recording and publishing notices on Contract Finder and Find a Tender Service
Supporting colleagues with the use and understanding of contract management systems
The Individual

We’re looking for people who can demonstrate:

Proven experience in contract management or a closely related role
Strong understanding of contract management systems and processes
Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
Knowledge of public sector procurement and compliance requirements
High levels of attention to detail and well-developed analytical skills
A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and stay focused
