Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has opened within our Urgent and Emergency Care Department for an Administrative PA to support Senior Managers and the Care Group Management Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive PA support to senior staff including diary management, scheduling, minute taking and email screening.
  • Act as gatekeeper, using judgement to resolve difficult situations and prioritise tasks.
  • Contact a wide range of stakeholders, internal and external, and maintain effective relationships.
  • Support the Governance agenda, including briefing coordination, document preparation and meeting facilitation.
  • Manage incoming mail and emails, ensuring timely responses and compliance with policies.
  • Assist Directors and Executive Directors with complex information and committee work.
  • Prepare briefings, reports and statistical presentations.
  • Coordinate meetings, events and conferences, including venue organisation and minute taking.
  • Maintain confidential contact lists and high‑profile governance standards.
  • Develop and implement procedures, manage budgets and support strategic projects.
  • Ensure continuity of support during absences, working with other PAs.
  • Perform any reasonable duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum experience as a PA or senior administrative role in a fast‑paced environment.

• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of PA procedures.

• Ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple priorities.

• Familiarity with governance and committee support is desirable.
