Site Manager

Location: Prescot

We are looking for an experienced Fit Out Site Manager to join the team, responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of high-quality commercial office fit-out projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office fit-out, with proven experience delivering both CAT A and CAT B projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover.

You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to a high standard of quality, and in line with the project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site.

* Manage and coordinate subcontractors, site operatives and suppliers.

* Plan and coordinate site activities to ensure projects remain on programme.

* Manage CAT A and CAT B commercial office fit-out projects.

* Coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors across all stages of the fit-out.

* Ensure all works are completed to the required quality standards and specification.

* Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager / Contracts Manager.

* Review drawings, specifications and programmes, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.

* Coordinate deliveries, logistics and site access.

* Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised working environment.

* Conduct regular site inspections and ensure works comply with relevant standards and requirements.

* Manage health & safety on site, including RAMS, inductions, toolbox talks and site inspections.

* Liaise professionally with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.

* Assist with snagging, completion and final handover of projects.

* Maintain accurate site records, diaries and relevant project documentation.

* Proactively identify potential delays, issues or risks and implement solutions.

Experience & Skills

Essential:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager within the commercial fit-out sector.

* Strong experience delivering office fit-out projects.

* Proven experience working on both CAT A and CAT B fit-outs.

* Strong understanding of construction sequencing and fit-out processes.

* Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.

* Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.

* Strong knowledge of health & safety requirements and site management procedures.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

* Ability to manage programmes, deadlines and competing priorities.

* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

* CSCS / SMSTS / First Aid qualifications, or equivalent relevant site management qualifications
