English Teacher

Position: English Teacher (Contract)
Teacher Active are working with a Good rated mainstream Secondary School in Kirkby (ages 11–18) who are seeking an enthusiastic Art and Design Teacher to join their team.

This is a full-time role, teaching KS3–KS5, with the opportunity for the right candidate to be taken on as a permanent member of staff. The successful applicant will be supported by a strong leadership team and will plan and mark lessons under the guidance of the Head of Department, while delivering creative and engaging lessons that inspire young learners.

The ideal candidate will:

Be confident teaching Art and Design across KS3–KS5

Plan and mark lessons effectively with departmental support

Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons

Provide positive support to students and promote their progress
