The Governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Level 2 EARLY YEARS Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting very young learners in their early educational journey.
The successful candidate will:
- Work collaboratively as part of a highly motivated and supportive team.
- Demonstrate compassion and sensitivity in supporting the social and emotional development of our youngest children.
- Use a range of targeted intervention strategies and lead intervention groups, such as Phonics, to support pupil progress.
- Monitor and evaluate pupil progress regularly and work closely with the class teacher to inform and adapt future planning.
- Promote and facilitate outdoor learning and continuous provision, ensuring a stimulating and enriching learning environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to promote best practises in a professional and positive manner.
- Possess excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
- Have the skills and experience to effectively support pupils in their learning.
The successful candidate must be highly committed, flexible, enthusiastic, patient and show great initiative. In addition, be willing and able to make a caring and positive contribution to the class and school. They will be joining a friendly and highly committed team within a happy and successful school.
