Location: Knowsley
New Directions, a caring SEND school in Knowsley, seeks a committed SEMH Teaching Assistant. This full-time role involves supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. You will offer 1:1 support, manage challenging behaviours, and assist in accessing a tailored curriculum. The ideal candidate has experience with SEMH needs, is patient, and shows strong commitment to supporting vulnerable pupils.
An enhanced DBS and references are required.
