A lovely school in Huyton are seeking a committed and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support a welcoming primary school in the Huyton area. This role offers a varied timetable, providing general HLTA support across different classes and delivering high-quality classroom cover where required.

The Role

As the school's HLTA, you will:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 when teachers are absent
  • Support learning in class by working with whole classes, small groups and individual pupils
  • Assist with intervention groups across core subjects
  • Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of pupils with differing abilities
  • Maintain strong classroom management and promote positive behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and senior leaders
  • Build positive relationships with pupils to support engagement, confidence and progress

This is an ideal role for an HLTA who enjoys a dynamic day-to-day environment and is confident covering a range of primary year groups.
