Remuneration: £30,000 - £40,000 + bonus

• Designer position dealing with a high quality range of masonry support systems such as wall ties, wind posts, lintels, cavity tray, brick soffit systems
• Design masonry support systems (brackets, angles, ties) for brickwork façades
• Review architectural/structural drawings to define support requirements
• Produce clear design drawings and technical details for site installation
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and suppliers to confirm solutions
• Provide technical support to project and site teams
• Ensure all designs meet building regulations and project specifications
• Resolve site queries and coordination issues related to masonry support
• Deal with project sizes between £5,000 and £500,000

• Must have designed masonry support systems, masonry, lintels, wall ties, wind posts, tension bars, steel beams, concrete reinforcement, concrete support systems, metal decking, rainscreen cladding, anchors, etc.
• Ideally have experience with AutoCAD and Solidworks software packages
• Ability to hit the ground running and work independently
