This is a key position within engineering enabling the department to fully focus on delivering a first‑class customer service.

We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. We’re also developing our offering for technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels, beginning to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and evolving new bio-fuels and renewable gases.

• Identify inefficacies in current process and procedures and offer solutions for improvement for delivering a first‑class customer service to our customers and Network.
• Arranging and managing Technical Service resource to attend customer sites and Depots to carry out Reactive/Planned and Project work and report on the status of these Work orders to the business.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure communication channels are maintained to provide the best possible service to Internal & External end users.
• Work with wider stakeholder to advance Utilisation and improvement of Asset management system (Maximo).
• Raising, approving of purchase orders, closing against invoices/completed works.
• Assist in the implementation & development of performance reports for Engineering resource.

• High level of dependability and professionalism under pressure. Can work unsupervised and be self‑motivated.
• Possesses a high level of organisational and commitment skills.
• Communication skills – Be an active listener, have excellent written communication skills for report writing.
• Ability and confidence to chair weekly and ad hoc meetings with key stakeholders.
