Shift Maintenance Engineer

Location Knowsley

Salary £53,000 + pension + 23 days holiday + bonus + overtime

Hours 2 days 2 nights 4 off 7 7

• Seeking a multiskilled maintenance engineer to join a growing company with significant investment.
• Modern state of the art facility with plans for further expansion in the near future.

The Job:

• Maintain manufacturing and process machinery such as; filling machinery, conveyors, high speed materials processing machines, sensors / switches, pneumatics, PLC s, bearings, pumps, wrappers, palletizers, labellers, packaging machinery, steam systems.
• Reactive and preventive maintenance, changeovers, trials.
• Contribute to downtime improvements, HSE.

The Person:

• Electrical bias preferred but not essential. NVQ 3 or ONC or HNC
• Food or beverage industry experience
• Good communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills important.
• Suitable backgrounds can include (but not limited to) manufacturing plant experience eg food, beverage, liquid filling, packaging, FMCG, automated warehousing, stackers, sorters / sortation, robotics, sensors, scanners, PLCs, Siemens, TIA, labellers, printing, canning, glass, plastics, pharmaceutical.
