BAE Systems is seeking a talented and motivated Principal Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering, specifically focusing on Control & Instrumentation (C&I).

Key responsibilities and duties for this role typically include:
* Providing technical leadership and expertise across Control & Instrumentation engineering activities.
* Designing, developing, and validating electrical and C&I systems in accordance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
* Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project managers, and external stakeholders.
* Resolving complex technical challenges throughout the lifecycle of the project, from initial concept through to deployment and support.
* Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical governance and best practices within the department.

We are looking for candidates who bring a strong background in electrical engineering, with specific professional experience in Control & Instrumentation. You should possess solid problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capability to lead technical deliverables in a fast-paced environment. A relevant engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification is expected.
