Responsibilities
The post holder will support the elective activity of the unit by assisting in a variety of Diagnostic and Results/Follow-up clinics and Breast theatre lists; independent practice is encouraged once the candidate is appropriately inducted into the unit.
Regular participation in Breast Screening & Main Oncology MDT is expected.
The candidate will be responsible for the management of the oncoplastic breast MDT. They will also be expected to participate in the DIEP planning MDT monthly.
QualificationsApplicants must be eligible for full Registration with the GMC at time of application.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
If this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
Please note if applicable, applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment.
If you have not already done so, you are therefore encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service to which a small annual fee of £13 per year applies.
