Speech & Language Therapist Team Lead

Salary: £48,022 FTE (pro-rated to term time)

Lead high‑quality therapy services within specialist SEN school settings, supporting children and young people with complex needs to thrive.
What you’ll be doing- Lead and manage a specialist Speech & Language Therapy caseload.
- Deliver evidence‑based assessment, intervention and therapy programmes.
- Provide training, guidance and consultation to school staff, families and carers.
- Supervise and develop junior colleagues within a supportive team culture.
- Lead a clinical specialism (e.g. AAC, Autism, SEMH, Dysfluency) and influence service development.
- Ensure best practice, safeguarding and professional standards across services.
- Degree in Speech & Language Therapy with HCPC registration.
- Membership of Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists.
- Significant post‑qualification experience, ideally with Autism and complex needs.
- Experience supervising others and contributing to service development.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working autonomously and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of EHCP processes and outcome measurement.
