Maintenance Technician

My client is a manufacturing firm based in Merseyside who are experts in the development and production of carbon-ceramic materials.

They are looking to expand their business by adding a skilled, Maintenance Technician to their team.

What you'll be doing as their Maintenance Technician:

• Perform planned maintenance tasks on equipment, machinery & facilities in accordance to their maintenance schedules.
• Be the 1st responder to equipment & machinery breakdowns forming a crucial part of the escalation policy
• Carry out repair, replacement & refurbishment of various parts, components & systems
• Support the installation, relocation & modification of equipment & machinery as required
• Awareness of continuous improvement opportunities through maintenance activity & communicate potential improvements
• Ensure accurate records of maintenance activity including DT Reports, Work Orders & Stores Inventory
• Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
• Uphold 5s standards through all maintenance work areas
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize operational disruption

Need to have:

• A relevant vocational qualification NVQ, ONC, C&G with an appropriate apprenticeship.
• Minimum 1 years' experience post apprenticeship within a Maintenance environment
• Candidates without qualifications but who can demonstrate relevant industrial knowledge and experience will be considered.
