Hours 7.30am – 16.00pm / 8.00am – 16.30pm
A leading European Food Group is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Technical Officer to join its well-established team.
Established in 1972, my client has grown into one of Europe’s leading businesses, dedicated to sourcing, blending and packing high quality, sustainably focussed, food product.
Senior Technical Officer Essential
Experience:
* 3 – 5 years’ experience working in a food technical setting
* HACCP level 2 – level 3 will be supported by the company
* Customer complaint investigation / Root cause analysis
* Good understanding of BRCGS
* Experience in assisting with internal audits
* Excellent IT Skills
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Full driving License
Senior Technical Officer
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and audit CCPs (Critical Control Points), their checks and records Monitor & audit pre-requisite systems and control procedures forming part of the site QMS
* Assisting in the investigation and conclusion of customer complaints
* Audit personnel, environment & equipment hygiene standards prior to and during production.
* Carry out investigative sampling to monitor and investigate out of specification results.
* Conduct internal audits of products and processes to ensure compliance with procedures and standards and continually improve in line with industry best practices & customer requirements.
* Conduct in-house audits to ensure compliance.
* Carry out trend analysis of site information (non-conformances, complaints, out of spec results, internal foreign bodies etc.) and use to target improvements.
* Investigate, communicate & implement corrective action following internal or external non-conformances
* quality and process improvements, carrying out investigations, traceability, liaising with other departments / suppliers to ensure non-compliances are closed fully & followed up.
* Monitor and audit start up checks to ensure issues are resolved within risk assessed & agreed timescales, liaising with relevant departments (taking photo standards, updating documents when new machinery introduced).
* Carryout coaching, training and ongoing education of factory personnel at all levels in relation to food safety & quality systems
