Goods Inward Inspector

Assist in the day‑to‑day inspection and measurement of production parts, incoming goods and other materials as required by documented procedures and processes. Assist in the generation of reports and images using the various electronic imaging systems, including the application of image analysis utilising optical microscope and macro video cameras. Prioritise Daily Crimp testing.

• Dimensional, mechanical and visual inspection of components from goods inwards and shop floor using the required sampling and measurement techniques.
• Correct processing and documenting of findings on appropriate paperwork.
• Carry out daily crimp tests in the allocated time period.
• Co‑ordination and delivery of all passed inspected parts to the correct departments.
• Give support to all production issues relating to the quality of product or process and raw materials.

• Must have product knowledge and be able to interpret engineering drawing
• Must be able to use an extensive range of measuring equipment
• Basic computer experience
• Ability to work under pressure
