** The Role
** We’re looking for a motivated XRF Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, with an analytical mindset, and hands-on lab experience who enjoys accurate, practical work in a structured environment.

You’ll support metals and minerals testing using XRF instrumentation, helping deliver reliable, high-quality analytical results.

Experience with XRF is desirable, but full training will be provided.

** About the Position**
* ** Shift:
** Rotational shift working 6:00am to 2:00pm and 1:30pm to 9:00pm

** Full training provided
** The day to day
*** Preparing, weighing and logging samples in line with test methods
* Operating and monitoring XRF equipment for metals and minerals analysis
* Recording and reviewing results accurately using LIMS
* Carrying out routine instrument checks, calibration and basic maintenance
* Following quality, safety and laboratory procedures at all times
* Planning and organising workloads to meet turnaround times
** The Essentials
*** Experience working in a laboratory environment
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
* Analytical mindset and confidence following technical procedures
* Awareness of laboratory Health & Safety requirements
* Comfortable using IT systems and data recording tools (e.g. LIMS)
* XRF or similar analytical instrumentation experience desirable
* Follow Quality standards ISO 9001:2008 and UKAS 17025
