Retail Assistant – Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Kirkby-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. We offer a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 2 days per week, including weekends.

• Pay: £10.95 – £12.81 per hour

Please note that this position will require you to be available for shifts on weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday. The role may not be suitable if you cannot work at these times.

The amount you earn depends on your age:

• Ages 16‑20 = £10.95 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.81 per hour

• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy

• Enjoy being busy with a variety of tasks, from deliveries to the till, customer help, cleaning and stock rotation
• Reliability, as you will be an important part of a small team that depends on you to perform each shift
• Flexibility with your shifts, including occasional changes to cover colleagues on holidays. Rotas are planned three weeks in advance and commitments are considered
