Overview
Social Worker - Standard (Adults) - Social Care Qualified (Contract)
Are you a dedicated and experienced Social Worker specializing in adult social care? Our client is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join their dynamic team on a short-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to make a positive impact within the mental health sector, working flexibly across office, home, and community settings.
Responsibilities- Manage and assess a caseload of adult service users, including those open to secondary mental health services.
- Conduct home visits and undertake community-based assessments with client consent.
- Develop personalized care plans and interventions in collaboration with service users and their families.
- Document all casework accurately and in compliance with statutory guidelines.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery.
- Attend team meetings and supervision sessions, with occasional office-based work at Huyton Municipal, Archway Road.
- Receive approval from the manager for community visits, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met.
- Qualified Social Worker (Social Worker status with relevant registration).
- Proven experience working within adult social care, particularly in mental health teams or transition teams.
- Strong assessment, risk management, and communication skills.
- Experience with Child Social Care (CSC) is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to perform a mix of office-based, home visits, and community work.
- PAYE: £25.00 per hour;
Limited/Umbrella: £32.82 per hour. - Competitive hourly pay rates.
