An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Agency Social Worker to join Knowsley Council’s Children Looked After service on a full-time basis. What you will do
  • Manage a varied caseload including children subject to care proceedings, children in care (LAC), and those needing care planning and permanence planning.
  • Prepare reports and attend court to support legal proceedings, working collaboratively with legal services and partner agencies.
  • Engage in child-centred practice with a focus on achieving stability and positive outcomes for children.
  • Participate in reflective supervision sessions to enhance your practice and support your well-being.
  • Work effectively within a multi-agency setting to deliver high-quality, relationship-based social work.
