Undertake high-quality assessments and produce evidence-based reports within agreed timescales.

Contribute to reducing drift and delay in care planning by supporting timely decision-making and progression towards permanence.

Liaise effectively with families, foster carers, adopters, and partner agencies to promote the best possible outcomes for children.

Provide professional advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders involved in permanency planning.

Participate in statutory meetings, reviews, and planning discussions where required.

Support children and young people to ensure their wishes, feelings, and experiences remain central to decision-making processes.

Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely case recordings, assessments, and reports.

Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant legislation, statutory guidance, local procedures, and Social Work England standards.

Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive life outcomes for looked after children and young people.
