Reports to:

Financial Controller

As an Assistant Accountant, you will be part of a dynamic finance team. The role encompasses reporting, financial analysis and day‑to‑day accounting support. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple group entities
• Generate journals for accrual & prepayment and other manual transactions
• Complete monthly reconciliations
• Review accounts for accuracy
• Assist with preparation of annual statutory accounts and liaise with auditors

• Part of fully qualified with a recognised professional body (such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment with rigid month‑end procedures and timelines
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and cost accounting
• Proficiency in ERP systems and good Excel skills
