We are looking for a Senior Group and Events Coordinator to join our team at Inverclyde, who will be the first point of contact for Sports Governing Bodies (SGBs) and club enquiries.
You will coordinate pre-event planning activities, undertake site visits and work closely with customers and operational teams to ensure the successful delivery of group bookings and events. As you'll be managing multiple bookings and priorities simultaneously, you should have experience of bookings, events or hospitality administration and be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
The post-holder will maintain group and event records, prepare proposals, contracts and invoices, and contribute to reporting and business planning activities. As such, you will be working with booking systems, financial processes and customer information and should be confident using Microsoft Office and booking or event management systems.
As you will also support repeat business activity and work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to help ensure customers receive a high-quality experience. The successful candidate should be a strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively and building effective working relationships.
* Please note successful candidates will be appointed at the entry point of the salary band.
